Claus (Kurausu) is the elder twin to Lucas (Ryuka) in the world of Mother 3 that comes from the Nowhere Islands. Despite his height, he is a youth that is the same age as Lucas.
However, unlike Lucas, he is rough, competitive, energetic, brash, bit of a prankster and rather lively, but like his younger brother, he gains PSI powers after being taught by Magypsy Aeolia in able to avenge his mother's death by the Mecha Drago. After 3 years of being missing, he turns up being converted into the mysterious Masked Man, who nearly killed Lucas and his friends on several occasions with the closest being at the final showdown for the fate of the World.
However, that has been ultimately averted in the end as Claus sacrificed himself to break out of Porky's control.
Now revived and completely healed, Claus is his former self and no longer the Masked Man, however he is on the search of his friends and family; most of all in order to search for his twin brother, Lucas. Despite of his regular form, he still retains being as part-chimera (it would be hard to miss the guy having one bionic eye, along with a robotic arm.)
At times, he is still haunted by his past on several occasions (memory relapses) that is ultimately part of his weakness. (being the reason he loses willpower and temporarily weakens his PSI ability.)

Claus has his brother, Lucas, in a standstill, it was just the news that will certainly please his new Master since he was the first to singlehandedly capture the boy. Before long, he pulled out a transceiver, having being remodified to contact Specter's Base.. hopefully there will be an answer by one or several of the Piposarus.
Even while brainwashed, there was the other side of him..still fighting..to break free from the albino simian's control..
..if only he wasn't weak from the memory relapses, this wouldn't had happened..

She approached the other cautiously. With that serious expression plastered on the other's face, not to mention the strange way that they looked similar to each other, she assumed that he was a male counterpart of herself, more or less. Her friends said that she always smiled with mischief, so she would've thought the same for any counterpart of herself, if she had one. It was because of the serious expression that she had made the conclusion that the other was still under the orders of... whoever Kalina's male counterpart was. "Hey, you, are ya ok, kid?"
The other looked to the female counterpart with no motion of expression across his face; it's almost as he was put under a trance, having long been brainwashed under a new master.
"Who are you? State your business here, ma'am," he said in a very direct and serious tone.

Ma'm? Ok, this kid was definitely still under orders. Maybe she could stop the violence from early on, before anything serious happens, such as harming one's own family members. She'd be able to change what's to come in the future, and hopefully, she would.

However, his master was looking for the boy and it was at this, he brought out his sword, pointing it to the younger, before he said,"You're coming with me. Master Specter expects of you, Lucas,"
"U-uh... Claus...?" Lucas was nervous at the way his brother was speaking. "Are you... ok?"
Questions that Lucas threw at the older were something that did not stick to his mind as he asked,"Are you going to come peacefully or are you going to pose as a challenge? Either way, you are coming with me, no questions asked,"
